The Kaboni Biochar Project is a carbon dioxide removal (CDR) and soil restoration initiative in Southwest Uganda. It uses controlled pyrolysis to convert agricultural and forest residues into biochar — a stable form of carbon that remains in soil for centuries.
Farmers supply coffee husks and other agricultural residues.
Residues transported to the production facility.

Carbon removal rights are reserved to the proponent to ensure credit integrity and traceability.
