Note: The agricultural input licence and the carbon removal credit are independent. Carbon removal is achieved when stable carbon is incorporated into soil — and is claimable regardless of whether biochar is given away or sold.

Distribution Model

During the pilot, biochar is provided to supplying farmers free of charge. In the commercial phase, biochar is sold as a licensed agricultural soil input. In all cases, emission reduction rights are reserved to the proponent.

Feasibility-phase data provides the basis for a staged growth plan. Early results support refinement of the production process and optimisation of biomass blends.
