High-quality biochar for soil restoration and carbon removal
Kaboni biochar is produced from agricultural and forest residues through controlled pyrolysis. It is a stable, carbon-rich material engineered for environmental and agricultural applications.
Highly porous with a large internal surface area — improves water retention, aeration and root development.
High, stable aromatic carbon content — raises cation exchange capacity and reduces nutrient leaching.
Resistant to biological decomposition — persisting in soil for hundreds to thousands of years.

Trials with NARO and NaCORI to validate agricultural performance.
Registration with Uganda's Ministry of Agriculture, Animal Industry and Fisheries.
Sold as a licensed agricultural input to farmers and cooperatives.
During the pilot, biochar is provided to supplying farmers free of charge. In the commercial phase, biochar is sold as a licensed agricultural soil input. In all cases, emission reduction rights are reserved to the proponent.
Feasibility-phase data provides the basis for a staged growth plan. Early results support refinement of the production process and optimisation of biomass blends.
